Several Spanish Bishops have expressed their condolences over the consequences of the tragic fire in a building in the city of Valencia on Thursday afternoon, which claimed the lives of at least 4 people.
It is a 14-story building located in the center of the Levantine capital that began to burn on Thursday afternoon. The polyurethane coating of the façade and the strong gusts of wind increased the destructive capacity of the flames and made it difficult to extinguish them.
In addition to the deceased, the event leaves at least 15 injured. Another 14 people are missing at the moment, including a couple with a newborn baby and another older child, although nearly half a thousand neighbors managed to leave the building alive.
