There have been numerous reactions after the stabbing perpetrated by a 15-year-old Muslim boy of an Orthodox bishop while he was celebrating Mass in a church in Sydney, (Australia).
Bishop Mar Mari Emmanuel, who has thousands of followers on social media and is especially known for his powerful sermons, was stabbed on Monday, April 15 while the ceremony was broadcast live from the church Christ The Good Shepherd (Christ the Good Shepherd).
The Orthodox prelate, as well as the injured – among whom is a priest – are stable and their lives are not in danger.
