The Archdiocese of Bahía Blanca (Argentina), through the School of Theology “María Madre de la Iglesia”, offers three formative proposals: catechesis, misionology and secular ministries.
The misionology journey is added this year to the school offer, which until now contained only the other two races. These are distance courses, and classes begin on March 1.

The catechesis curriculum lasts three years, and is aimed at those who wish to deepen faith in order to an apostolic projection. To do this, it provides a biblical, theological and practical basis. It consists of 15 mandatory and also some additional subjects, which are optional according to each student’s interest.
In the case of the formation of secular ministries, the plan is oriented to people who wish to deepen a training in the altar service (readorado, acoled or diaconate). It also lasts three years and includes only the intellectual dimension, so those who wish to receive a ministry need to make an additional journey of discernment with the pastor and the bishop.
In the case of orientation in Misionology, it is designed for missionaries, animators and pastoral agents who want an academic preparation for evangelization in a synodal code. It consists of eight subjects, divided into two semester, plus four workshops.
