May 8: Our Lady of Luján, Patron of Argentina

The Virgin of Luján is a Marian invocation that has devotees worldwide, but especially in Argentina, of which she is Patroness. His sanctuary is located in the city of Luján, province of Buenos Aires. Pope Francis always professed a special devotion and during his pontificate he entrusted him “the joys and concerns of the Argentines.” Decades ago, San Juan Pablo II, during his visit to the sanctuary, recalled that many popes entrusted the Virgin under this sweet invocation. May 10 – San Juan de Ávila, Presbyter and Doctor of the Church

He is considered a patron of the Spanish secular clergy.

May 13 – Blessed Virgin Mary of Fatima

May 22 – Santa Rita de Casia

«Santa Rita, religious, who, married to a violent man, patiently tolerated his cruelty reconciling him with God, and when his husband and his children die, he entered the monastery of the Order of St. Augustine in Casia, of the Umbría, in Italy, giving all a sublime example of patience and compunction (c. 1457)» (Roman martyrology). Santa Rita de Casia is known as “The Holy of Impossible” and her devotees entrust her to ask for thanks and favors in times of difficulty.

May 24 – María Auxiliadora

Mary help Christianspopularly known as Santa María Auxiliadora, or simply María Auxiliadora. San Juan Bosco, founder of the Salesian family, was the greatest disseminator of the love of the Mother of God under this invocation. May 26 – Memory of San Felipe Neri

May 29 – San Pablo VI, Pope

Saint Paul VI was the Pope who completed the Second Vatican Council, and defended life and family. He was ordered priest in 1920 and served in the Secretariat of State of the Vatican for 30 years. He was appointed Archbishop of Milan in 1954 and Cardinal in 1958. After the death of San Juan XXIII in 1963, he took the post of the Council and concluded with the work of preparing the document.
