Every November 29, the Catholic Church celebrates Saint Saturninus, bishop of Toulouse (Toulouse), Gaul (present-day France). He preached in Gaul, the Pyrenees and the Iberian Peninsula, making him one of the most popular and beloved saints in France and Spain. Saturnino is also called ‘Serenín’, ‘Sernin’ or ‘Cernin’. |
