You have to know well the cause you are serving.
There is a miraculous story that has Saint Raymond as the protagonist. According to the story, Raimundo was accompanying King James to Mallorca. The king was a known womanizer who had promised to make amends, but who did not honor his word. In view of this, Saint Raymond refused to continue accompanying him and asked for permission to return to Barcelona.
The king did not accept the request and threatened to kill anyone who dared to take him off the island. At this, the Saint said: “The kings of the earth can prevent us from fleeing, but the King of heaven will give us the means to do so.” Then he went to the sea, spread his tunic over the water, tied one end of it to a pole to serve as a sail, made the sign of the cross and climbed on it.
Miraculously, the improvised “ship” arrived in Barcelona and Saint Raymond was received with acclamations by the people who saw him arrive. The saint, without flinching, picked up his tunic, which remained dry, put it on his shoulders and went in the direction of his monastery. At the landing site, after his death, a chapel and a tower were built.
