Every January 29 we remember Blessed Bronislaus (Bronislaw) Markiewicz, Polish priest, founder of the Congregation of Saint Michael the Archangel (Congregation of Saint Michael the Archangel), linked to the Salesian family, the Pious Society of Saint Francis de Sales.
The spirituality of the Congregation is summarized in two beautiful mottos: “Who is like God!” -the cry of Saint Michael- and “Temperance and work!” Its members, inspired by the testimony and teaching of Saint John Bosco, are especially dedicated to the recovery and formation of abandoned children and youth.
