The registration period for the “Heart of Jesus, Hope of the World” Congress, which will take place next June 2025 in Spain, organized by the Archbishopric of Valladolid and the Institute of the Heart of Christ, is now open.
This congress wants to support the words of Pope Francis who, in his bull for the call for Jubilee 2025, stated that “hope is born from love and is founded on the love that flows from the Heart of Jesus pierced on the cross”, in the context of the 350th anniversary of the apparitions in Paray-le-Monial of the Heart of Jesus to Saint Margaret Mary of Alacoque.

The relics of the saint will be taken for veneration in the National Basilica-Sanctuary of the Great Promise of Valladolid during the congress, where in the year 1733, Blessed Bernardo Francisco de Hoyos received the Great Promise: “I will reign in Spain.”

General registration has a price of 35 euros, to which the cost of 40 euros can be added to receive the proceedings of the symposium.
For participants over 35 years of age, two registration modalities have been planned: complete or personalized. The first includes registration and accommodation on a full board basis, with a price between 117 and 187 euros depending on the type of accommodation chosen.

The maximum number of accommodation places available is 200, which will be assigned to the congressmen in strict order of registration. The congressmen will be able to stay at the Spirituality Center, the Diocesan Seminary and the Marist College.

Paray-Le-Monial, origin of devotion to the Sacred Heart
The program of the congress, which will take place between Friday, June 6, 2025 (first of the month) and Sunday, the 8th, Solemnity of Pentecost, opens with the celebration of the Eucharist presided over by Bishop José Ignacio Munilla, Bishop of Orihuela. The first day will conclude with the Holy Hour corresponding to the first Friday of the month, led by the Archbishop of Toledo, Mons. Francisco Cerro.
Sacred Heart, foundation of hope
Saturday the 7th will open with Eucharistic adoration presided over by the Bishop of Alcalá de Henares, Mons. Antonio Prieto, and the morning will be dedicated to addressing the second section of the congress that will address The Sacred Heart, foundation of hope.

To close the day, the congressmen are called to participate in the Pentecost Vigil presided over by the Archbishop of Valladolid, Mons. Luis Argüello in the cathedral.
Three apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
On Pentecost Sunday, June 8, the congress is completed with its fourth section entitled Witnesses of trust, in which Fr. Javier Pueyo Velasco, HNSSC, professor of History at the San Ildefonso Theological Institute, Fr. Jaime López Peñalba, professor of Spiritual Theology at the San Dámaso University and the dean of the Faculty of Communication, Education and Humanities at the Abat Oliba CEU University of Barcelona, Marcin Kazmierczak, will outline the profiles of three apostles of the Sacred Heart: Father Henrie Ramière, Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and Saint Faustina Kowalska.
The closing presentation of the congress, entitled Heart of Jesus, hope of the worldwill be carried out by Mons. Argüello. The final Mass will be presided over by the Apostolic Nuncio in Spain Mons. Bernardito Auza.
