At 9:30 a.m., you will travel by boat along the canals to the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salud, where a large group of young Venetians and the Diocese of Veneto will be waiting for you.
At the end, some young people will accompany the Pontiff on foot across a pontoon bridge that connects the temple with St. Mark’s Square, where the president of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia, the Prefect of Venice, Darco Pellos and the Trustee of Venice Luiggi Brugnaro.
Pope Francis will preside over the Holy Mass that will begin at 11:00 a.m. and then he will pray the Queen Coeli. At the end of the Eucharist, Bishop Moraglia will pronounce a few words of gratitude.
