The celebration will also include a mass, music, a film and face -to -face testimonies about Pope Leo XIV, Origo del South Side and fan of the whole life of the White Sox.
The public is invited to attend the next “celebration of the choice of Pope Leo XIV, the first Pope born and raised in the Chicago area.”
The event is scheduled to start at 2:30 pm (local time) on June 14, with the Mass scheduled at 4 pm the doors will open at 12:30 pm, according to the archdiocese. Details about tickets will be announced soon.
