Pope Leo XIV sends message of encouragement, solidarity and hope to Mexico

“During the meeting, the bishops expressed to the Pope the realities that mark the ecclesial and social life of Mexico, underlining both the pain of the community and the signs of hope that flourish in the midst of difficulties,” reads the message.

The statement also indicates that Leo XIV “offered a word of breath, solidarity and hope, encouraging the Church in Mexico to always walk in communion, as a single church called by Christ to build peace and testify hope, particularly through young people and families.”
