UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Science and Culture Organization) is a UN specialized body with the mission of building peace in the minds of men through international cooperation in the fields of education, science, culture, communication and information.

The permanent observer of the Holy See contributes to the deliberations in the body and, although it does not have the right to vote or to present resolutions without copatrocinio, actively participates in meetings and negotiations.

Who is Mons. Roberto Campisi?

He was born in Syracuse (Italy) on November 18, 1978. He is 46 years old.

He was ordained a priest on December 7, 2002, incardinating the Archdiocese of Syracuse. In 2007 he obtained the doctorate In both right at the Pontifical Latarenense University.

He entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See on July 1, 2010. He has provided his services in the pontifical representations in the Ivory, Venezuela, Italy and the General Affairs section of the Secretariat of State of the Vatican.
