Mons. Wachowski was born in Pisz (Poland) on May 8, 1970 and was ordained a priest on June 15, 1996, incardinating the diocese of Ełk, suffragan of the Archdiocese of Varmia, north of the country, near the border with Lithuania.

After graduating in Canon Law, he entered the diplomatic service of the Holy See in 2004, where he has developed his work in Senegal and in the permanent mission before the International Atomic Energy Agency (AIEA).

He has also served in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and in the United Nations Office and the institutions specialized in Vienna.
