Pope Leo XIV asks the consecrated people for missionary audacity to identify new ways of evangelization

The Pope asked the consecrated people to be “instruments of peace” in the world and to discover “new ways of evangelization and human promotion.”

The meeting brings together pilgrims from a hundred countries, including religious men and women, contemplative monks and nuns, members of secular institutes, consecrated women of the Virginshermits and representatives of new forms of consecrated life.

“Do not tire of bearing witness to hope in the many frontiers of the modern world, knowing how to identify with missionary audacity new paths of evangelization and human promotion,” said the Holy Father in the greetings in Italian that he gave after the catechesis.

The Pope asked them to identify new paths to spread the Gospel and serve their neighbors. Likewise, he thanked them for their valuable service to the Gospel and the Church, and urged them to be “eloquent signs of the love of God and instruments of peace in all environments.”

Furthermore, he extended an affectionate greeting to the faithful of the dioceses of Bologna, Bergamo, Casale Monferrato and Cagliari, accompanied by Archbishop Giuseppe Batturi, as well as to the parish communities of Casal Bordino, Rotondi and Lari, to the soldiers of the logistics command of Rome and to the students of the Cortese high school in Madaloni.

The Pontiff ended his message by addressing a thought to the young, the sick and the newlyweds and invited everyone to look at Mary, invoked in this month of October as Queen of the Holy Rosary, to correspond to the design of love that God has for each one. He concluded by imparting his blessing to all those present.
