The Vatican has confirmed that Pope Francis will preside over the Holy Mass of Corpus Christi on June 2 in the Basilica of Saint John Lateran, something that has not happened since 2018.
The tradition of celebrating the Solemnity of Corpus Christi in the cathedral of Rome once again appears on the papal agenda.
As confirmed last Saturday by Bishop Diego Ravelli, Master of the Pontifical Liturgical Celebrations, the Mass will take place on Sunday, June 2, in this emblematic Roman basilica at 5:00 p.m. local time.
