This Wednesday, March 13, Pope Francis began to preach about the virtues, after reviewing the vices in the previous general audiences since last December 27. Due to his state of health, he has once again handed over the reading to a collaborator, this time, Bishop Pierluigi Giroli.
At the beginning, with a hoarse voice, he said: “Good morning. I welcome you. I still have a bit of a cold and that’s why I asked the monsignor to read the catechesis. Let’s be attentive, huh? I think he can do us a lot of good. Thank you so much”.
In the catechesis, Pope Francis points out that “however tiring it may be, the human being is made for good, which truly fulfills him, and he can also practice this art, making certain dispositions become permanent in him,” to begin his words about virtue.
