Pope Francis today encouraged that “within families” “The thunderous silence of a prayer that reaches tears is heard, because she leaves the heart.”
This was said at a hearing held this Saturday, February 8 with the members of the Executive Commission – among them the archbishop of Seville (Spain), Mons. Josep Ángel Saiz Meneses -, of the II International Congress of Brotherhoods and Popular Piedad, held in December 2024 in Seville. The meeting took place in the Santa Marta house, due to the bronchitis from which the pontiff is recovered.

“I am very happy to receive them as pilgrims this jubilee year. They have come to thank God for the last International Congress of Brotherhoods and Popular Piedad, ”the Pope told them.

“I hope that in this work the beat of a heart that loves is always heard. Let us propose that, through ‘respect, affection and care’ in this home, society and the welcome themselves can recognize again the unique dignity that each person has, ”he said.
