This Wednesday, at the end of the General Audience, Pope Francis renewed his call for peace in the Holy Land and urged humanitarian aid to be delivered to the population of Gaza, “who are at the extreme and really need it.”
Before the faithful present in the Paul VI Hall of the Vatican on the morning of this December 13, the Holy Father assured that he continues “with great concern the conflict in Israel and Palestine.”
For this reason, he renewed his call for an “immediate humanitarian ceasefire” while regretting that “there is a lot of suffering.”
