Regarding the photo that illustrated the meeting, in which the grandmother from Plaza de Mayo can be seen taking the Holy Father by the arm, he explained: “Here they said: ‘You shouldn’t touch the Pope.’ Ah, what do I know, I touched him, he is the Pope, for me he is a brother, it is a love and respect that I have for him… Yesterday he was an Argentine with us, he was divine,” she said.
“We were talking in a place that was the Vatican, but it was our house. We all talked. In any case, I was the confident one, who grabbed his arm. And he, emotional, calm,” she explained.
Regarding a possible visit by Pope Francis to Argentina, Estela de Carlotto reported: “We were asking him to see when he comes to Argentina. He’s going to see, he doesn’t solve these things alone but together, but he wants to come, let’s see what happens, he said that he’s going to think about it.”
