In the Angelus this Sunday, February 11, Pope Francis stated that “love needs concretion, presence, encounter, donated time and space: it cannot be reduced to beautiful words, to images on a screen, to selfies of a moment or to hurried messages.”
At the end of the canonization Mass of Mama Antula, the first saint of Argentina, Pope Francis went to the window of the Apostolic Palace of the Vatican to lead the prayer of the Angelus as every Sunday.
In his reflection prior to the Marian prayer, the Holy Father highlighted the closeness of Jesus’ style with those who suffer, a close style with “few words and concrete actions.”
