The Holy Father denounced that migrants are sometimes considered “second-class” citizens, excluded from access “to health services, care, assistance, financial protection plans and psychosocial services.”
In this regard, Pope Francis stressed the need to offer decent work and food security, while highlighting the crises suffered by war-torn countries, such as Gaza and Sudan, which “host the largest number of people facing famine.”
