“We must not forget these two skills that we must have: talking to children, listening to them, making them laugh, and with grandparents, listening to their stories.”
“I like to think that hell is empty.”
When speaking about God’s forgiveness and mercy, Pope Francis expressed that he likes to think that “hell is empty.”
“It’s not a dogma, just my opinion: I like to think that hell is empty. I hope it is,” said the Holy Father.
The “reform” that the Church needs
For the Holy Father, it is necessary “the reform of hearts, for all Christians, to repent and change their hearts continually.”
Regarding the “reform of the structure of the Church,” he pointed out that “the things that were good last century are not good now” and that “true freedom is to change them, because they are not absolute things in themselves but relative to the historical moment”, although he reiterated that the essential thing is to transform hearts.
