In his words prior to praying the Sunday Angelus, Pope Francis reflected again on the Three Wise Men, who went in search of the Child Jesus to contemplate him, an experience that the faithful can carry out thanks to Eucharistic Adoration.
“It is the decisive experience for them and also important for us: in Jesus Child, in fact, we see God made man. And then we look at Him, marveling at His humility,” stated the Holy Father.
In that sense, he added before the 40,000 faithful gathered in St. Peter’s Square, “contemplating Jesus, remaining before Him, adoring Him in the Eucharist: it is not wasting time, but giving meaning to time.”
