The first disciples, he stressed, “were not looking for news or information about God, or signs or miracles, but they wanted to find the Messiah, talk to Him, be with Him, listen to Him.”
“Faith, in short, is not a theory, no, it is an encounter, it is going to see where the Lord lives and dwells with Him. Finding the Lord and dwelling with Him,” he highlighted.
The Pope noted that “the disciples were looking for Jesus, then they went with Him and spent the entire afternoon with Him. And then to announce. They come back and announce. Search, inhabit, announce,” he reiterated.
