“It is urgent that religions, without falling into the trap of syncretism, set a good example by working together; not for one’s own interests or those of a party, but for the interests of our world. Among these, the most important now are peace and climate,” he expressed.
Appealing to the responsibility of world leaders, Pope Francis called for a commitment to preserve our common home. “Let us set an example, as religious representatives, to show that change is possible, to manifest respectful and sustainable lifestyles,” he urged.
Finally, he called to guard creation and protect the common home: “Let us live in peace and promote peace. Thank you”.
