Pope Francis appreciates tenderness of the care that he receives uninterruptedly

For this reason, he also thanked all the messages of affection and the prayers he has received during these days and pointed out that he joins from the hospital “spiritually who will participate in the spiritual exercises of the Roman curia in the next few days.”

The Holy Father also asked for “the gift of peace, especially in the tormented Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, Lebanon, Myanmar, Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.”

He also showed “concern” about the resurgence of violence in some areas of Syria.

“I hope it definitely ceases, with full respect of all the ethnic and religious components of society, especially civilians,” he also claimed from the hospital, entrusting himself to the Virgin Mary.
