Mons. Cristián Castro: I entrust myself to your prayers
In a message Published on the website of the Episcopal Conference of Chile, Mons. Cristián Castro Toovey sent his greetings to the Catholic community of the Diocese of Santa María de los Ángeles and entrusted himself to your prayers so that the Lord would help him in his new pastoral mission.
In the text, the new bishop thanks his predecessor, Mons. Felipe Bacarreza, for his years of dedication and pastoral service, and Pope Francis for the trust “in entrusting me with the pastoral care of the diocese, which I assume considering my limitations, but confident in the action of the Holy Spirit who makes the disciples of Christ, apostles of communion, peace and joy.”
