Mons Guillermo Caride, named Auxiliary Bishop of the diocese of San Isidro on October 26, 2018 by Pope Francis, has served as Coadjutor Bishop since February 2024.
After the resignation of Bishop Ojea, Bishop Caride becomes the fourth Bishop of San Isidro.
The Communication Office of the Bishopric of San Isidro announced a farewell and thanksgiving for the 15 years of service to the diocese of Mons. Ojea. It will be on Friday, March 14, 2025, at 7:00 p.m., in the San Isidro Cathedral.

Who is Bishop Ojea?

Bishop Guillermo Caride was born in Buenos Aires on May 25, 1962. He was ordained a priest on December 5, 1986 by the then Bishop of San Isidro, Bishop Jorge Casaretto.
Pope Francis appointed him Titular Bishop of Giomnio and Auxiliary of San Isidro on October 26, 2018. He was consecrated Bishop on December 7, 2018 by Bishop Ojea.
On February 22, 2024, Pope Francis appointed him Coadjutor Bishop of San Isidro.
He is a member of the Episcopal Commission of Ministries of the Argentine Episcopal Conference and Delegate of the Buenos Aires Pastoral Region. His episcopal motto is: “Feel with the Church.”
