Here I was accepted, and a year later I received my robe. You just have to be baptized, believe in Jesus Christ and have a motorcycle. We want to pray, roll and do good.”

Claus Despewolf, in charge of receiving those who wish to join the club, expressed their satisfaction for the first part of the tour. “The weather was perfect, the roads were fine,” he told Ewtn News.

Asked who finally decides if someone can become a member of the Jesus Bikers, Dempewolf replied: “That is decided by our president and our Route Captain; our President is Jesus Christ, our Route Captain is the Holy Spirit.”
