On Palm Sunday, at the beginning of Holy Week 2024, emotional traditions took place in several parishes around the world, which were not without anecdotes. Below we share some of them.
1. Three laps of the Holy Sepulcher
The Custody of the Holy Land (CTS) points out that on the morning of March 24, Palm Sunday, the celebrations began in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre, inside which is the Edicule (building) where the empty tomb of the Lord is located. The clergy, religious and faithful formed a circle around the structure.
