Open Funes design is characterized by a Contemporary, flexible and harmony architecture with the environment. The Housing type complex projected by the architect Pablo Gagliardo is composed of 18 housing of 3 bedrooms that share the same property.
Each house has a Private patio, pool and barbecuewith the intention that residents can live in a safer environment than a traditional house, without losing intimacy in these spaces.
“We seek to offer a lifestyle that respects the Natural landscape and maximize the efficient use of spaces, ”explains Gagliardo.
The project is located in the city of Funes, province of Santa Fe, in an area that has been experiencing a sustained real estate growth. It is located a few meters from Av. Air Force (which connects it with the city of Rosario), in an area where private and lots have been developing.
Housing are distributed in a block succession. Each takes two paired and mirroped houses, matching the expansion to improve sunning and gain privacy.
Thus, each house occupies a land of about 180 square meters, with 110 square meters covered, on two levels. In turn, the complex has a Unique vehicular and pedestrian incomewhich enables access control and privacy of its inhabitants.
On the ground floor, the social space is organized in a wide being dining with integrated kitchen, connected to the garden and the pool -Aprivated for each unit- through large windows that guarantee an optimal internal-exterior relationship.
According to the designer, “this design promotes the Natural lighting and air circulationcreating a fresh, bright and cozy atmosphere. ”On the top floor, the house is distributed in a main suite, accompanied by a full bathroom and two additional bedrooms.
“Each space is designed with a functional approach, guaranteeing the privacy and the comfort of residents. Housing have been thought to offer a high level of comfort in every corner, providing broad, practical and light environments, ”says Gagliardo.
The project materializes mainly in concretea resource that brings robustness and modernity, and that the author usually chooses as an expressive tool in projects of various scales.
In this case, the concrete boxes worked with table formwork is based on Metal columnscreating a sensation of lightness and opening at the lower level. It is there where a dark revoque ditch is combined that, together with the windows, enhances the atectonicity.
Concrete eaves Openings protect the sun runs that correspond to the bedrooms. While the metallic pergolas in the courtyards also serve as a climate filter and end up forming the expansion and barbecue space of each unit.
By releasing the social area on the ground floor wins greater flexibility and amplitude In spaces. In the same sense, it seeks a permanent connection with the outside, where the disposition of the windows allows the interior of the house to be harmoniously relate to the natural environment, a concept that the Gagliardo Architecture study pursues in all residential projects.
“Design seeks to offer New ways to liveintegrating the urban and the natural in a single space, ”considers the author.
