The Opus Dei in Venezuela organizes the Family Fest 2025the second edition of an initiative aimed at “strengthening spiritual life” in the country and becoming “a space for renewal and unity for families” within the framework of the Jubileo de la Esperanza.

He Family Fest It emerged in the midst of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the visit to Venezuela of San Josemaría Escrivá, founder of the Prelature, and of the 125 years of the Consecration of the country to the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar.

Sabrina Hinojosa, in charge of communications of the event, reminded Aci Prensa the special interest that the Spanish saint had so that in Venezuela a temple dedicated to the sacred family of Nazareth was built. In 1998 the Caracas parish was inaugurated, until today governed by the priests of the work.

This year, the initiative will take place on May 31 and June 1 – coinciding with the jubilee of families in the Vatican – and will take place, as last year, in the spaces of the Sacred Family Parish of Nazareth, located east of the Venezuelan capital.

The Church of the Sacred Family of Nazareth was designated by the Archdiocese of Caracas as one of this year’s jubilee temples, so the people who attend the Family Fest 2025 They may gain plenary indulgence, complying with ordinary requirements.

In addition, during the weekend the next canonizations of the Blessed Carmen Rendiles and José Gregorio Hernández, first Venezuelan saints, still without a confirmed date, but approved by Pope Francis very little before his death will be held.

“My family can be my friends, my partner and everyone around me.
