With 15 years carrying “souls to meet Jesus in the Eucharist, through song and preaching”, the open sky mission will celebrate its anniversary with two free concerts in Mexico City.
The presentations will be held on September 20 and 21, at 6:00 p.m. (local time), in the National Auditorium in the capital of the country, where the assistance of 20 thousand people in total is expected.

A press release shared with ACI Press, Cristal Domínguez, an open sky directive points out that with the impulse of its anniversary it will seek to be “pilgrims of hope to bring God to all the hearts of Mexico, mainly to the most needy”.

Adoration in the Jubilee Year of Hope
Under the slogan “Hope open sky”, this edition acquires a special sense in the framework of the Jubilee Year with this theme called by Pope Francis.
In this sense, they explained that the goal will be to bring hope with music and prayer especially for “Mexican families who suffer the absence of a disappeared loved one.” Likewise, God will be asked “for a Mexico where peace and security return hope and confidence to its inhabitants, along with other intentions.”
“We are pilgrims of hope in difficult times. Carrying light, comfort, joy, knowledge of God and, above all, enthroning Jesus Eucharist as king of our hearts,” said Xavier Garza Ríos, responsible for open sky spirituality.

Artistic participation
Concerts will have the participation of international artists such as the Itala and Juanjo marriage, from Peru and Paraguay; Paola Pablo originally from the Dominican Republic and Ana Bolívar, Colombian singer. Carlos Omar, Maurilio Suárez, and the founders of the Mission, Cristal and Pedro will also be presented.
