Three days before the draw for the Copa America 2024 which will be played from June 20 to July 14 in USA, Conmebol announced this Monday the 14 competition venues that will host the 32 matches that the 16 participating teams will play. Six of the stadiums will only be for the Copa América, while another eight will be repeated as venues for the 2026 World Cup, the first that will have 48 participating teams. The latter are Arlington (Texas), Kansas City (Missouri), Miami Gardens (Florida), Santa Clara (California), Atlanta (Georgia), East Rutherford (New Jersey), Houston (Texas) and Inglewood (California).
It will be a special tournament, since in addition to the 10 teams from South America there will be another six from Concacaf that will play as guests. United States, Jamaica, Mexico and Panama They already have their place guaranteed, while the other two participants will be confirmed after a play-In between Canada-Trinidad and Tobago y Costa Rica-Honduras which will be played on March 23.
