New university diploma in Road Safety

With the objective of training educators, security managers in companies, members or applicants of the security forces, professionals and technicians, UMET launches the University Diploma in Road Safety, under the teaching direction of Pablo Martínez Carignano, former executive director of the National Road Safety Agency of the Nation.

The specialization, which will be taught virtually in a weekly class on Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m., aims to address the issue of traffic accidents from a broad perspective and with the focus on providing tools for the design of public policies and the implementation of concrete measures.

“In our country, road accidents are not only the main cause of death and disability in those under 35 years of age, but they also impact the economy, public health and the quality of life of the population. To confront this scourge National, provincial and municipal authorities are needed to commit to changing reality. and know how to do it,” Martínez Carignano remarked.

And he added: “This course is aimed at those who work on the subject and feel that they need a additional specific training to do your job better. Our experience in management is a plus for teaching, since to the theory we will add the lessons learned in these years of concrete work and we will provide a clear federal vision.”
