The Colombian group fruit of the Madero, born of the community prayer of the Rosary and music as a path of prayer, arrives for the first time to Argentina to participate in different activities and will carry several proposals for young people.
Led by Tomás Romero, so far from 2025, the group has visited countries such as Mexico, the United States and participated in Rome of the Jubileo of the Young people, where they were part of the community of Catholic singers who composed the anthem and sang it in front of a crowd. Now, the group lands in Argentina, where it will be touring different places between September 6 and 14.

In dialogue with ACI Press, Tomás Romero expressed the great joy that the group feels for this visit: “We are very excited, because going to Argentina was a dream that we had tried before and had not been achieved.”
“When we expected it, it happened; and that is precisely the specialty of the Virgin: surprise. We are happy to be able to contribute a grain of sand, sharing what God has done in our lives and being testimony to it,” he added.
Romero also stressed that “Argentina is a very blessed country, which, like us in Colombia, has gone through difficult times. But in the end, the immaculate heart will succeed, and what we have to sow hope and remember people who today more than ever need apostles of hope.”
“Today there are too many tragedy reporters, and what we must do is fill the hearts, so that they can sow hope in those who do not know God or are confused,” the young man encouraged.
In addition, he expressed his gratitude “with whom they made this visit possible” and his joy for “being able to share with so many Argentine singers, unite talents and live the experience of being a church.” He also asked for prayers “for the fruits of this mission, so that the Virgin continues to accompany us.”

El Rosario, heart of the tree
On Thursday, September 11, in the City of Buenos Aires, the Fruit of the Madero will participate in a night of Rosario and Eucharistic Adoration – as they do in Bogotá every Thursday – with a group of young people who, motivated by the experience of the fruit of the Madero in Colombia, since the end of 2024 they pray the rosary weekly.
The meeting will be in the San Patricio parish (Echeverría and Estomba) of the Belgrano neighborhood, and some members of the Blessed group will also accompany, who will unite their voices and their music.
The activity will begin with the celebration of the Eucharist at 7:00 p.m., and then the rosary will be prayed with sung worship. From the community they summon those who want to approach to pray for peace, vocations and church. Both young, as adults and families are invited.
A concert of praise and thanks
On Friday, September 12 at 8:30 p.m., the invitation is to an intimate concert that will bear fruit of the wood and the Argentine singer Maxi Larghi in the San Lucas parish, to praise God giving thanks for the canonization of Carlo Acutis.
The meeting is called “For Carlo I praise you, (Night of praise).” It is mainly aimed at young people, but is open to all audiences.
In dialogue with ACI Press, the Catholic singer -songwriter Maxi Larghi anticipated that the purpose of the concert is “to praise God and thank the life of St. Carlo Acutis, this new saint that motivates us so much to follow the path of Jesus.”
The musician acknowledged that it is a “enormous blessing” to be able to share this praise with many brothers, “mainly with the brothers of the tree of the Madero, who are a band that have been bringing so fresh and so full of God.”
“From the cross, from the Madero, fruits of resurrection come out when they are delivered to God from the hand of Christ,” he reflected. Therefore, “tonight it is intended to be a night of praise, to find and sing to God and praise”, in a “very special” parish, San Lucas, where the University Pastoral also works, “an epicenter of the youth of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.”
Those who wish to attend must reserve their entries in https://mariastudios.org/producto/san-carlo-acutis/. The value of the entrance is at will, with a suggested price, and taking into account that the capacity is limited, to enter they must present the QR generated on the web.
Prior to the concert, at 7:00 p.m. a Mass will be held in Thanksgiving for the Canonization of Acutis, chaired by Fr. Santiago Obiglio, advisor to the Juvenile Pastoral of the Archdiocese.
