A man entered the church of San Judas Tadeo in the Diocese of Saltillo, in the Mexican state of Coahuila, and destroyed several religious images, including those of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and that of the temple’s patron saint, causing “irreversible damage.” ”.
According to the Diocese of Saltillo, the man acted “under the effects of toxic substances.”
In a press conference this February 20, Father Roberto Carlos Campos Castañeda, rector of the church of San Judas Tadeo, accompanied by the Bishop of Saltillo, Mons. Hilario González García, indicated that the damage occurred on February 19.
