Mexico City Cathedral will grant a Pilgrim of Hope certificate

In the context of the Jubilee Year that the Catholic Church celebrates in 2025, the Metropolitan Cathedral of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven in Mexico City will offer the faithful a “Pilgrim of Hope” certificate.

This certificate, notes the Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico, is considered a “symbol of your spiritual commitment in this important year for the Church.”

The “Pilgrim of Hope” certificate is a complement to the pilgrimage process, which during 2025 will allow Catholics to receive the jubilee indulgence at any designated sacred place, including churches and special shrines.

However, it is not enough to just cross the Jubilee Gate to obtain the indulgence. It is important to understand the necessary requirements and the specific places where it is granted.
