At least 3,000 people gathered on April 19 in the city of Saltillo, in the Mexican state of Coahuila, to participate in a day of worship, procession and Mass for peace, in the context of the electoral process in Mexico.
The communications office of the Saltillo Diocese shared with ACI Prensa the estimates of the people who attended, adding up to the 3 hours that the event lasted.
In the call for the event, the Bishop of Saltillo, Mons. Hilario González García, indicated that the objective of the day was to strengthen, through prayer, “the awareness of citizens regarding the common responsibility in the construction of the Mexico that they long for.” , one “where there is justice and peace.”
