On the morning of this Monday, December 4, Pope Francis met in the Vatican with the Council of Cardinals to discuss various topics, among which the “feminine dimension of the Church” stands out.
The Council of Cardinals, also known as C9, is the group of cardinals that collaborates directly with Pope Francis in the government of the Church.
In this last session of 2023, the members of the Council reflected on the female presence in the Church, as Pope Francis noted last week during an audience with members of the International Theological Commission.
