Mons. Daniele Libanori, Auxiliary Bishop of Rome and commissioner of the Loyola Community, founded by the accused of abuse Fr. Marko Rupnik and recently dissolved by the Vatican, affirms that the nuns will return to the secular state and reports on the creation of a fund to your assistance.
The Loyola Community, co-founded in Slovenia in the 1980s by priest Marko Rupnik, accused of having committed serious sexual, spiritual and psychological abuse of women for decades, was dissolved by the Vatican in October of this year “due to serious problems related to the exercise of authority and the community way of life.”
The decree of dissolution was issued by the Dicastery for Institutions of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, after an investigation carried out by the Diocese of Rome by its Auxiliary Bishop, Mons. Daniele Libanori, appointed commissioner of the Community.
