The National Sanctuary of Our Lady of Luján, Casa de la Patrona de los Argentinos, prepares to receive once again the multitude of pilgrims that comes to visit the Virgin every first weekend of October.
On this occasion, the 51st youth pilgrimage to Luján will take the slogan “Mother, give us love to walk with hope”, and will take place on Saturday 4 and Sunday, October 5.

Every year, this demonstration of popular faith summons more than one million faithful who walk from different places to the Buenos Aires city of Luján to honor the mother.
The youth pilgrimage to Luján is organized by the Archdiocesan Commission of Popular Piedad of the Archdiocese of Buenos Aires, and part from the Sanctuary of San Cayetano, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Liniers.
As on each occasion, from the aforementioned commission they are already making known a series of collections and provisions that seek to strengthen the health aspect and care of the common house.
For this, more than 60 health positions will be distributed throughout the route, which will offer attention to pilgrims.
It was also reported that the main column with the header image, replica of the Virgin, will leave on Saturday, October 4 at 10:00 a.m., from the Sanctuary of San Cayetano, and will travel the 60 kilometers next to thousands of pilgrims, until you reach the Sanctuary of Luján.
The traditional central mass of Sunday at 7:00 in the Plaza Belgrano de Luján, at the gates of the Basilica, will be chaired by the archbishop of Buenos Aires, Mons. Jorge García Cuerva. Soon the schedules of the other masses will be published.
The entrance of the faithful to the city of Luján will be made along Las Heras Street, allowing vehicular crossing at the intersections of Las Heras and Humberto 1st streets (both hands); Las Heras and Güemes; and Las Heras and Belgrano.
As for the flow of traffic, proximity to the date of the pilgrimage, more details will be offered.
