The documentary film titled A man without fear about the Jesuit priest José María de Llanos, known as Father Llanos, maximum representative of the phenomenon of the so-called “worker priests.”
The Society of Jesus has collaborated in its production through the transfer of the use of photographs and documentation from its archives, as well as with the participation of the company’s priest, Father Pedro Miguel Lamet, biographer of Father Llanos.
Born in 1906 in Madrid, José María Llanos was the son of a military man. After completing his degree in Chemical Sciences, he entered the Society of Jesus in 1927. During the Civil War, faced with religious persecution, he was sent to study abroad.
