Father Carlos Miguel Silva Canessa (56), a Jesuit priest, attacked several people, including a woman who works as a supervisor for the LATAM airline, at the Jorge Chávez international airport in Lima (Peru).
The attack occurred on Thursday, April 11, when the priest was traveling to the town of Tacna, in the south of the country. The parish to which Father Silva Canessa belongs, Our Lady of Fátima, in the Lima district of Miraflores, has published a message apologizing.
According to the television channel Panamericanathe police complaint against the Jesuit priest states that he hit a worker whom the Peruvian television station identified as María Gracia Rivera, and the security agent Carlos Fabrizio.
