It begins Baseball Tournament of Caribbean Series 2025 with Mass and Coronation of the Virgen de Guadalupe

The Caribbean series is an annual professional baseball tournament that brings together the champions of the winter leagues in Latin America.

In this edition, the Charro teams of Jalisco (Mexico), Indians of Mayagüez (Puerto Rico), lions of the chosen one (Dominican Republic), Cardinals de Lara (Venezuela) and the special guest, Japan Breeze (Japan) participate.

The teams will compete in a elimination phase all against all, from Friday to Monday, followed by the semifinals, a game for third place and the grand final, which will be held on February 7.

During the Homily of Mass, Mons. Enrique Sánchez Martínez, bishop of the Diocese of Mexicali, called on unity, remembering the message of the Virgin of Guadalupe.
