The world’s world premiere was scheduled for May this year. The film participates in Carlo’s mother, Antonia Salzano, and experts such as Dr. Ricardo Castañón Gómez, a well -known scientist who became the Catholic faith thanks to her research on Eucharistic miracles.
The production also has the performance of Antonio Mauri, son of the famous Mexican actor Antonio “Toño” Mauri.
The film addresses the seven tips or “Kit of Holiness” by Carlo Acutis: go to Mass, confess, worship the Eucharist, pray the rosary, read the Bible, have devotion to the angel custodian and put into practice the works of mercy.
In a statement shared with ACI Prensa, Gaby Jacoba, director of the International Catholic Film Festival, which produces Holiness kithe informed that the premiere will be paused “until the new date of the canonization, since this film walks and goes hand in hand with Carlo’s canonization.”
“We thank you very much for all your support, and that this waiting and prayer time serves to continue knowing the spiritual legacy of holiness that Carlo Acutis left us, and we are united in communion with our Holy Church,” said Jacoba.
The director of the International Catholic Film Festival stressed that “we know that God’s times are perfect and when the time for Carlo’s canonization comes, together we will live an unforgettable moment and a party of heaven on earth, and then we can enjoy this film, which will lead us to know Carlo’s spiritual legacy.”
