Matías Janices, who was in charge of planning the new space, is excited about a venture that adds to his initiative that began a decade ago. “10 years ago we had a self-service and, through contacts with people in the community, we incorporate kosher productswith great success, and four years ago we opened exclusively with these products,” he says.

And he adds that (Miramar) “is a city adopted by the community for its year-round tourism; It is a kind of ‘second headquarters’ that it has in Argentina. We saw their needs and a few years ago we began to think about a specially dedicated inn, which was an old aspiration for everyone.”

The project began to take shape in February 2024, with the support of the Municipality and the Deliberative Council, with the central idea of ​​creating an exclusive hostel for the people of the community, which fundamentally seeks to have cultural trip y respect for their rules.

“It is not that anyone who does not belong to the community cannot enter, but the idea is that everyone who enters respects the uses and customs. The link is that we have trust through food, since we supply several hotels with kosher food, there are some restaurants that provide the service for which we are suppliers, and that is how this idea was born,” says the businessman.

Vaiam, which means “Parador al Mar”, offers this year a service of security beach, parking lot and a food truck that sells suitable products such as snacks, smoothies and unprocessed food in a grocery store style. It also has a wifi zone.
