It is not very difficult to fall in love with such a place and want to return again and again: the cabins are in the middle of a native forestabout the Coast of Lake Morenooverlooking all that mountain landscape that the Andean Patagonia gives and that seems like a story.
This is how this story begins, with a Great family that passed their vacations in a cabin complex in Bariloche (Río Negro) to which they returned again and again. Everyone liked it and had a good time. So much so that when the owner told them that the place was on sale, they made calculations between siblings, they negotiated, they made accounts again … and they bought it.
“This already It was a five cabins complex Where we vacation for 10 or 12 years, ”says the brothers David and Adrián Sánchez.“ We knew the owner and ended up acquiring this place and reforming everything. We gave his own imprint. We knew all of its Virtues And also All its defects from having enjoyed it for many years. ”
The brothers confess that no one in the family had experience in tourism, except for “the one to go on vacation”, they laugh at remembering everything they had to learn, in addition to surrounding themselves with people who knew about the subject, with experience.
Villa Labrador, the cabin complex, changed their lives.
Pandemia: an opportunity
If the story began with the family going on vacation, the radical turn arrived in Plenary 2020, with pandemic and confinement. One of the brothers called the owner of the cabins where they always went on vacation to consult him what expectations they had about the opening of tourism in Patagonia, more than anything, “if they calculated that in summer it would be open.”
General uncertainty did not allow planning too much how the next vacation would be.

The Answer was the first step for this adventure: The owner had no idea about the next future of tourism and, at the same time, he told him that he was already tired and that he was some time ago in the process of detaching of the cabins and the entire property, to retire. He had been on sale for three years, he said.
“He told me that he wanted to sell and I said ‘Chow are you going to sell this place so dreaming of all‘”, Says David, who still did not imagine that at the same time he would be in charge of this complex.
As who does not want the thing, in that talk he asked him how much he asked. The figure was a sidereal, but it was the place of his dreams.

Telephone and virtuality throughwhich was all that allowed super extended quarantine, started the negotiations and also began to understand that this implied a Important turn in your works and routines.
Reopening: Villa Labrador is born
All the cabins of this place – located in front of Lake Moreno and 14 km from Bariloche – were renewedbut one of the great differentials was the remodeling and expansion of a 120 -year -old barn Made with mountain materials.
They made him a cabin for 18 people That they are rented to large family groups, to companies for work meetings, to groups of friends traveling for different activities-from playing golf or leaving fishing-or a couple who celebrates their wedding and travels with the family.
“And the We use ourselves also. We did it for us. We do not live here, but we come and enjoy it too, ”confesses Adrián.

This cabin is called Casona Araucaria And it has a Great viewpoint to the lake, 600 metros, Six rooms (Each one with his private bathroomeven some have their own living).
This allows to maintain privacy and, at the same time, find the perfect spaces to share As an industrial style kitchen, a large living room, a playroom with metegol, ping pong, board games, pool and bar, and a large barbecue with grill and grill.
“When we were going to Bariloche we had to rent four cabins, without a common place for the boys to play together, and in this house we offer that, places to enjoy different experiences and Choose when to be together, without losing privacy. It has everything that a mountain house needs, ”say the owners.

To this great cabin are added six smaller cabins (from two guests), in addition to a pool, soccer field and games for boys.
“You can live a countless experiencesby its location, the views, the access to the coast of the lake, the forest, for being a still virgin place and that is 100% in contact with nature. That’s why We decided to run the risk in full pandemic And initiate this process of converting the place of cabins into what is now Villa Labrador, ”says the brothers.
