Ford Argentina presented the Ford Pro program in the country, a set of solutions designed for commercial vehicles and whose purpose is to achieve greater efficiency in the businesses of its clients.
The oval brand already has this program in markets such as the United States, Europe or Brazil, where it has proven to generate very good results.
The purpose is to help maximize productivity in each phase that the client undertakes: from the prospection and purchase of the vehicle, including financing, transformation (if required), after-sales service and connectivity.
This last point appears as the most innovative and notable since it would allow users have statistical and real-time information of the use and operation of vehicles.
Connection for better information
It is currently available at no cost to customers of the Ranger pickup and the brand new E-Transit, the company’s new electric van. Thanks to a 4G modem integrated into the vehicle architecture, this system helps improve productivity through different differential items.
For example, intelligent preventive monitoring can be carried out, avoiding unexpected stops, allowing possible anomalies to be anticipated. As explained by the company, it is possible to detect a potential fault and even order the replacement part for the destination the vehicle is headed to.
Additionally, through an exclusive information portal for customers, the fleet manager will have visibility of the use, fuel consumption, status and health of their vehicles to obtain maximum performance from their fleet.
Drivers will be able to use the FordPass app which allows them to access multiple vehicle commands remotely, such as opening and closing doors, and geolocation, among other functions depending on the model.
Ford considers its fleet to be one of the key elements of this program. The new Ranger, manufactured in Argentina, will be available for Ford Pro with XL and XLS versions.
The Transit line, manufactured in Uruguay, which includes van configurations (with three load capacity configurations and manual or automatic transmission options), 17+1 Minibus (also with manual and automatic options) and Chassis. Added to that is the brand new electric version recently announced in the country.
Furthermore, among the assistance services, mobile workshops offered available for maintenance and light repairs, preferential prices on spare parts and warranty extension program, among others.
In turn, Ford included in this program different financing alternatives for different types of customers, whether they are small business owners or owners of large fleets.
One of them is an agreement with the ICBC bank for loans: the current offer includes a variety of combinations of duration times, with loans ranging from 12 to 36 months, which cover up to 65% of the value of the vehicle.
For Ranger customers, Plan Óvalo offers 10 and 20 installment plans for companies, and 120 installment plans. For Transit customers, the alternative is an 84-installment plan.
Through Comafi bank (The Capita Corporation), large commercial clients will find attractive leasing options.
