The elected bishop was born on March 14, 1966 at Nowe Miasto Lubawskie, Poland. He is 59 years old.

He has played, among others, the following positions: Parish Vicar of San Eugenio de Mazenod in Kędzierzyn-Koźle, Poland (1992-1994), missionary in the Archdiocese of Toamasina, in the rural areas of Marolembo, Madagascar (1995-2002), pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes (2006-2009).
He has also been a member of the Council and Superior of the IMO delegation in Madagascar, pastor in Befafasy, in the Diocese of Morondava (2016-2021). He was then in charge of the missions in the province of Poland (2021-2022), and since January 10, 2023, was the provincial Superior of IMO in Poland.
